About the Center
Learn about the story of the center, our vision for the future, and the goals we strive to achieve to serve heritage and society.
The Center's Origins
The idea of establishing the Coptic Alexandrian Cultural Center emerged from a pressing need for a cultural and scientific institution that brings together the depth of Alexandria's Coptic heritage and the possibilities of modern technology. Located in the heart of Alexandria, the Center stands in a city that has long been a crossroads of learning, culture, and knowledge.
Our Vision
A Coptic Alexandrian who is authentic in belonging, confident in identity, and active in society.
Our Mission
We seek to strengthen Coptic identity and deepen the sense of belonging to the Church through comprehensive educational and cultural programs spanning every stage of life—from childhood to old age—while bringing together heritage preservation, cultural dialogue, and institutional collaboration.
Our Goals
Establishing a comprehensive central library housing thousands of volumes, books, and historical treasures related to Coptic heritage.
Creating an advanced digital library that opens access to valuable knowledge and heritage resources through modern digital technologies.
Establishing a major conference and lecture hall designed to host distinguished cultural, educational, and academic events.
Creating a permanent art gallery that showcases masterpieces of Coptic art and rare works reflecting the creativity of generations past.
Establishing a Coptic archaeological museum featuring historical artifacts and rare manuscripts that preserve and document the depth of the Coptic Orthodox heritage.
